If you are a lover of arts and culture, you simply have to set aside some time to visit the Louvre. This wonderful art gallery and museum, known in France as the Musée du Louvre, has more than 35,000 exhibits, so a little pre-planning is necessary. The most popular item, da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, is a must-see but you can expect to queue up.
There are times when even the most energetic city visitor will need to stop and rest for a little while, and the perfect location for a little relaxation is right next to the Louvre. The Jardins des Tuileries provides some much-needed fresh air right in the heart of the city, so when you feel a little fatigued you need to make tracks to this wonderful park.
